Hey guys! With summer right around the corner summer and everyone switching out the wardrobe, it’s an awesome time for a closet clean out. Making room for all the new clothes you’ve gotten, all the while freeing the burden of the shrunken sweater that’s been in your closet for the last 2 years. My closet can sometimes seem like a big black hole, but by embracing the saying less is more I’m on a journey to try to keep my clothes organized and well-managed.
You know those random tee shirts you got at the car wash, grocery store, fundraiser, ect. Ask your self how often you really plan to wear whatever the item is. Opening up that extra space will free your closet for new, cuter shirts.
Old bras and bralettes
If you wear the same cycle of bras there is no need to keep the ones from years ago. A general rule: if you’ve had it for more than 3 years than it’s probably time to switch it out.
Anything that doesn’t fit
If the dryer has won the battle, it’s time to say goodbye. Clothes that are too small or too big don’t look good on anyone. Try to sell whatever the item is online and make some cash, or donate it.
Anything you haven’t worn in more than a year
Pretty obvious, but if you haven’t worn it in over a year there is no need to keep it in your possession when you could sell it or donate it to some else. Your trash might be someone elses treasure!
I hope you all enjoyed XOXO
